Olive Academies is a multi-academy trust, approved by the Department for Education. Established in 2013, it is one of the first academy sponsors specialising in alternative provision in England. Its principal aims are to encourage students, many of whom live in deprived communities, to develop the confidence, skills and knowledge to believe that they can be successful in their own lives.

Olive Academies opened its first alternative provision academy in Thurrock, Essex, in 2015.
This is one of the first sponsored academies for pupil referral units and alternative provision in the country. This was followed by a second academy in the London Borough of Havering, which opened in September 2016. Olive AP Academy – Suffolk (Central) opened in June 2017 providing support to pupils age 7 to 16 in Stowmarket and Bury St Edmunds.
