Olive Academies Trustee (Two roles available)
Trustees are key to the success of the OA Multi-Academy Trust, playing a vital role in securing positive futures for children and young people who have faced significant challenges in their lives. This role is a fantastic opportunity to ‘give something back’, develop new and existing skills and work with a diverse group of people to help shape an organisation which aims to transform young people’s ambitions and approaches to learning.
The trust is recruiting two trustees:
- Corporate governance and strategic leadership: an individual who can bring expertise in shaping the culture and governance within an organisation. Someone who can help focus the board’s capacity to strategically manage a complex trust such as OA as it expands and plans for the future.
- Change management/strategic HR: someone able to think analytically and take a strategic view of the workings of a business as it expands and plans for the future. The trust is seeking an individual with significant management experience to bring depth of knowledge, critical challenge and scrutiny to our board. In particular, the trust is looking for someone with a proven track record in the field of human resources and/or business growth.
Time commitment: Preparation for and attendance of quarterly two-hour board meetings and an annual away day.
